Terms and Conditions of Business

Please make sure that you read our Term and Conditions and you returned it dated and signed.

Enrolment

By enrolling your child with PDA you have agreed with the following:

Payment of fees

We have four payment blocks of ten weeks each. Once you have enrolled your child within the school we will invoice you from enrolment date up to the end of the current payment block.

Children who attend 3 classes a week will benefit from a class free of charge. This is per child only and does not include a sibling as a 3rd class. Families with 2 or more children attending a minimum of 3 classes will benefit from a 5 or 10% discount off the total bill depending on the class price. Monthly Payments are an option offered to some families with bills over £100. It is compulsory to set a standing order and a regular date of payment. No discounts available for this payment method.

No payment of fees by the second week after invoices have been issued will incur an additional 10% added to your bill. We accept payments in cash, cheque and online.

Any cheques returned unpaid will incur a handling fee.

We reserve the right to suspend your child's lessons until payment has been received.

Unpaid bills will be handed to a Debt Collector Agency.

Missed Lessons

There will be no reduction of fees for lessons missed by students. Students are very welcome to attend another class/branch in order to make up for the missing lesson.

In the event of forced closure due to Covid-19 or due to other unforeseen events out of our control there will be no refund. Classes will be covered online or children can attend other classes in the timetable to make up for those missed lessons.

Notice to Leave

Seven weeks written notice is required if your child wishes to discontinue with their lessons. These seven weeks must be paid when notice is given. Failure to do so will result in the next payment block being charged in full. Unpaid bills will be handed to a Debt Collector Agency. Notice to leave only accepted by email or by post. Messages on Facebook or mobile are not accepted.

Liability

We are fully qualified teachers, insured and DBS checked. We are fully aware of the Child Protection Policy, however, due to the nature of teaching dance, sometimes it is necessary to correct dance positions physically. This is always conducted with the utmost care and professionalism.

Parents have the responsibility to notify us of any illness or injury that may affect your child's class.

We do not accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury arising from errors or omissions on the registration form.

Uniform/Discipline/Etiquette.

All uniforms are compulsory.

Students should be wearing the correct uniform for each class. If the child already has appropriate dance clothing, they are very welcome to use until a new uniform is purchased.

Hair must be tied back at all times for all classes. Hair in a ballet bun is compulsory from G1 Ballet. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a discipline manner whilst attending the classes and be respectful to both teachers and fellow students at all times. This will ensure the safe and wellbeing of everyone.
